Hemp And Murano Glass Lanyards
These lanyards are hand braided hemp. They are 3mm thick. Hemp is a natural, plant fiber. It has a soft, cottony feel. Each of these lanyards has a metal, focal piece. The focal pieces are made using either sterling silver, copper, sterling silver/ vermeil (sterling silver with a gold-plated outer layer) or white bronze (bronze with a sterling silver outer layer). The beads used in each lanyard are handmade, Murano glass beads. They are surprisingly sturdy and hold up very well. These beads are made by cottage industry artists on the island of Murano, off the coast of Italy. They are referred to as Murano or Venetian, glass beads. Each bead is individually hand made.
