Every piece of jewelry made by Stockdog Gems has been inspired by my passion for border collies and sheep herding.

All of the jewelry in my line has been expertly crafted in the USA using 14 or 18 karat gold and sterling silver. All of our sterling silver jewelry is made from argentium sterling. Argentium sterling is alloyed to resist tarnishing. It rarely needs polishing. Everything is made substantially and is “built to last”. Every piece is handmade and individually, finely detailed.

Stockdog Gems features our signature line, Field & Trial Series. These fine, collectable jewelry pieces are available in 18 karat yellow gold or 18 karat white gold. They depict familiar, classic border collie and sheep herding scenes. Look for our hallmark SG (Stockdog Gems) on the back.

My design concept is the beginning of each item. I then draw or photograph my design idea. That design is then carved into a wax. From that wax a mold is made and is cast in gold or silver. Sandblasting is used to create the background finish on many of the pieces. Each piece is then meticulously hand finished. The finishing touches are put on by hand engraving the fine details in. Each piece has it’s own unique characteristics and variations.

The lanyards, for your whistles, are hand braided from soft, supple leather. A detailed, sterling, sheep bead is added and gives beautiful contrast to the rich colors of the leather.

The clean, contemporary lines and classic styling of all Stockdog Gems’ jewelry allows you great versatility. They have been designed to be sporty enough to wear with jeans and a t-shirt, but are sophisticated enough to wear with dressier clothes.

I strive to have a wide variety of exceptional quality and design border collie and sheep herding jewelry. I try to continuously add new products. Along with my own original designs, I've added pieces by other artists that I feel compliment my line.
